Scene from the school yard this morning; it really looked like a cartoon actually. There are a few swallow nests in the yard. This morning I suddenly saw a gathering of children in a corner. I was standing against a wall on the other side and for a second I thought that someone was hurt. I didn't even have time to walk to see what was happening.  ( Read more... )

... the shooting stars show that should occur these nights in the Lyra sector, especially tonight. Well, that is, if you're lucky with the weather (here tonight it's rather cloudy, unfortunately) and live in a place where it's visible. 

iconoclass  and I did some gardening this afternoon. We took away the weed, aired the soil, and planted some cilantro and tomatoes. Oh, and a piece of garlic too.

If someone had told me last year at the same period that I would be gardening, I would have laughed. Yet here I am, thrilled about seing the first tomato leaves get out of the soil.
